The difference between the seven fold collection and the most standard three fold ties is in the craftsmanship and added quality. Each seven fold tie is meticulously handmade using the Italian "seven fold" construction. It can also be known as a "lined sixfold construction".
This involves folding the silk within itself creating a mainly self lined and self-tipped tie. The seven fold tie's fullness and body comes from the silk itself and for this reason, requires much more silk to create this high quality tie.
